That's just who she is. A healer. A listener. A protector. My whole life, she has made sure I never felt alone. She has looked out for me, guided me, sat with me in my defeats and celebrated with me in my victories. She taught me so much about kindness, perspective, diversity and what it means to show up for people you love, for strangers and all those in between. She continues to inspire me and strengrhen my understanding of nuance and generosity. She is my best friend, my confidant and my role model.
